The staff sergeant is responsible for the successful development of soldiers in his section or under his command. He also has one or more sergeants reporting to him. This is nice brass challenge coin celebrating the Staff Sergeant rank. Staff Sergeant or SSG is an E-6 rank in the U.S. Army and is a non-commissioned officer. The designation is just above Sergeant and below Sergeant First Class. The NATO code for a Staff sergeant is OR-6. This challenge coin aptly stands for the US Army Staff Sergeant and has his rank insignia on one side and the US Army logo on the other.
