Duane Lydecker officially joined the site in August of 2007. It was over a cigarette break and a little convincing to bring his video skills to the table to help get some great videos out to let people know what challenge coins are. Duane is a veteran of OEF, OIF, and has served faithfully in the Air Force for over 15 years. We like to aknowledge him as a veteran becuase we appreciate the sacrifice himself and his family has made in serving our country. He has been an inspiration to us all through pushing us to do the acting, to making us laugh after we see the edits. Duane is married with 2 wonderful children and a huge fantasy fan. He just finished his Dragoncon trip this year and he looks like he had a blast. You can see this in his picture.

Duane has been a very valuable asset through video production and creativity on U.S. Challenge Coins .com. He develops the youtube videos through creation to final product. He is stationed here in Augusta and donates his creative skills through his awesome camera. Usually an idea is thrown on the table and Duane picks it up and runs the finished product through his head and only asks, “So when can we do this?”

Duane uses a Cannon GL2 to do all the filming. I think making these videos was the last thing he was thing about doing with his new camera. Have no worries he has plenty of things he can film as long as the whole gang of us are around and having fun with what we do.
