I just wanted to post so our guests and members can see this. This morning I had a $40 sales on the auction site. In the last 3 days I have made $100 from the site in 3 coin sales. I expect a lot more so those that might have doubt about the realistic venue, I think it's worth having a second look. It may not be eBay, but the sale potential is certainly there and at least I know every sign up is there specifically for what I sell. Besides Google position for it can't be beat Smiley

Just wanted to give an update, and I know AK Hunter asked this morning. There currently is no fees for it until the membership gets up in there. I have $150 credits for all sellers right now. Anyways, I don't expect bigger sellers to come over because they are so tied into eBay but those of you looking to sell off a few coins might really want to check it out. You are going to get very good exposure.

That is a good point.  Since I have to pay people to do my thousands of listings, it just doesn't make sense to pay someone to list in your auction site, that is so new.  However for someone with just a few coins to sell, that other people already have on eBay, it may be worth a try.  I guess you can count this as my first endorsement to your auction site.

Well I guess I will take what I can get. Eventually I might be able to get more but for now I am under no false pretenses of what it is. I am happy enough to at least be selling there and other sites. Reality is if I can make even 1% of what I make in the USCC store there I can completely happy. I just hope I can help out some of the smaller and newer guys. I can imagine going up against guys like Jesse and others is like climbing a 50 foot wall.

Yes, trying to start selling coins on eBay isn't as easy as it was a few years ago.  As I make this post, there are 771 stores on eBay that have a Challenge Coin for sale (check out the link below).  Right now I have third most listed, behind my mom and THEMATSA.  I think the top 10 in this list dominate the market pretty well.  Some stores are better and more reputable than others.  And some smaller stores like Kevins have their niches, that are hard to break into as well.  Timing is everything, and I am just so glad I'm not new to this industry right now.  Especially with the state of the current economy.

oh well, the link isn't working because it is making spaces at the end of each line.  take my word for it, 771 stores.

Hey THEMATSA is a member of Challenge COin Auctions also. He will be listing soon I believe. We talked a while back about getting him all setup. Sorry I was just thinking about that. 771 is a lot and a lot of serious competition.

Well a quick update. We are at 31 members and thats specific to challenge coins, not random members. I have 3 bids open and things are starting to pick up. I invite anyone to come and join the crowd there.

We have jumped to 37 members now and thats 4 in the last 24 hours with 2 sales from those members. I think 2009 is going to be a big year for this site. I think with the eBay auctions I have been running it's helped a bit to get the site known. If anyone wants to list auctions there, it could become a benefit even if it's a sale once in a while. If not thats ok to, the 2 stores there now have been earning a little here and there.

Another update, we have 43 members now and an actually bidding war going on. We are gaining members steadily now. Would like to get it up to about 500 before long then the fun can really begin!

A quick update. Yesterday we made it 50 members and there are plenty more coming. I have 30 sales with 15 of them from the last 7 days. I have a suspicion we should hit 100 members in the next couple weeks. I am really excited seeing this actually take off.

Thanks ACE, I think I have no doubt the numbers will keep going. Just give me a few weeks and the numbers will move right up. I have a couple other sellers wanting to come aboard and make some sales also.

So far the auction house is averaging 162 people per day. I hope everyone keeps an eye on this. I will be unloading a ton of auctions on the site once I can get everything squared away. I have a few other tricks up me sleeve. Goal before summer is 500 people per day average. I think for the niche that is very respectable. We are now at 72 members and it will be increasing a lot now that I am settled in a bit more. I have 2-3 weeks before i am on the road again Cheesy

A quick glimpse into the life of the site. We now have 81 members and I have personally hit 40 sales. It's going really well and I am about to double my numbers so hopefull we will be looking really good shortly.
