At U.S. Challenge Coins we are always trying to innovate within our specialty and 2009 has been quite a ride. As each month passes we try to create another great thing for our members and our customers. I have to admit though this isn’t always easy. This year we ushered in a great look that really brings the site to life not only in our store, but the forum as well. You might be asking what exactly did we do? Well let me list a couple things.
- Made Navigation easier throughout the site
- Added an Affiliate Program
- Put more information on the homepage
- Added over 500 new products
- Reshot every image on the site
- Created our testimonial page
- Upgraded the entire site to load faster
- and much more…

Well it’s been a great year to say the absolutely least. If you read through the blog you will see earlier posts of hope and vision to guide me through the building of this company. A lot of times when I write I am often speaking out loud or sharing my hopes and dreams with the people that would like to read them. I guess in many ways it’s my online diary about my passion. So some might ask where we have grown in 2008, or did we complete anything we set out to do this year. On the surface a simple yes disguises what has really happened in the last 12 months. I will provide a bigger picture of what we have become in 2003. I (Adam) was just a seller on eBay (adamx8) peddling patches to collectors. Today we are literally a full grown company that has employees, inventory, reputation, and solid footing. That’s an amazing accomplishment in 5 years and especially if you are familiar with the details of the moves we have made. In 2009 we are easily on the track to be the #1 producer of custom challenge coins with a store that is triple of our nearest competitor, and frankly this is all bullshit aside.

So what’s new with U.S. Challenge Coins besides a new look? Well a few things. We hired more staff to provide better turn around, we have streamlined some processes, but the best thing we have done that directly affects all our users is provided the ultimate free upgrade. We have officially gone to Hard Enamel paint for all of our products. This is huge because instead of everyone getting soft enamel which scratches easy and doesn’t look that stunning, you now get the best paint in the world for coins for absolutely free. The days of cheap looking coins without dated paint are gone. Our entire inventory and process moves us completely too hard enamel for nothing.
Hard Enamel is stunning to say the least. This also costs twice as much as the cheaper soft enamel. Some folks have compared hard enamel to adding liquid glass to a coin. Our mission is to give the best product for the lowest possible cost and this brings us to the next level and we couldn’t be any more excited about this. We process so many orders that it was the bargaining chip to get us the service for nothing extra. We will be posting images to show the difference in the coins from pre and post changes so everyone can see the difference.

U.S. Challenge Coins is one of the top companies in the United States for minting challenge coins. They have the #1 quality with the #1 price. When the product all comes from the same factory why bother paying 5 or 6 times the price for the same end result? This is correct. U.S. Challenge Coins .com uses the same factory to mint your coins as the top minter in the United States uses. The difference is there is no overhead with USCC because the business is ran from home offices instead of offices and buildings in a bunch of states.
Your coin is the most important thing and you want it done right for a good price. The last thing you want is for someone to mark you up when you have options. When you switch websites you just switch the people and not the finish product in most cases. Not every website uses the same factory, but the top names in the industry use the same one which is why their high quality coins keep on trucking. The last thing competition wants the everyday buyer to know is how much cushion is attached to the actual cost of a coin.
Ever wonder what a coin really costs? Just look at U.S. Challenge Coins price chart and you will see the factory numbers. There is no hiding what it costs. No numbers are hidden and everyone knows what it is from the very start. Ask yourself one question, “Do I really need to pay more for the same end result?” If you answered yes then USCC is not for you.
