Sometimes people need a little more convincing on choosing us. I mean lets face it, we are one of many sites offering the same type of service. So really what sets us apart? Well below is a list of things you might find to choose us over other companies. Let’s see if we can convince you or not:
1. Hard Enamel Paint – We were the original company that went to 100% standard hard enamel paint. Since that introduction only one other company has made it a standard as well. Why is this a big deal? Soft enamel fades, peels, cracks, looks less attractive and usually needs to be coated with an epoxy dome. We don’t believe in using soft enamel which means our coins don’t need epoxy. Hard enamel doesn’t do anything. It just stays there forever looking awesome. We believe our products are the absolute best out of any company competing and a big reason is the paint we use.
2. Superior Metal: Our metal is some of the finest you can get. We don’t get those nasty little pits and scratches like other companies. You are getting the best stock for your dollar. We don’t skimp just to add profit. Our name is our coins.
3. Price: We are still waiting for a company to beat our price. We once had one do it but they used soft enamel, bad metal, and slow delivery. I guess in some cases you get what you pay for. Once you see our price you will feel very confident in buying. Just wait till you see the end product.
4. Crappy Artwork: We refuse to hire a professional artist just so you can get a warm fuzzy. We use basic design to make the point. If you want to hand out paper to your people to thank them for a job well done then go to another company and pay the artist there. We believe in awesome results without the fluff and frankly our clients enjoy not paying the additional cost in overhead.
5. Fast: We make coins quick. Sometimes we can do it in 8 days. Sometimes we can’t. We don’t promise a 7-10 window because we use a quality process. Fast means soft enamel and bad metal which in turn means a terrible end product. We try to stay on a 14 day turn around but some jobs are harder than others.
6. Insomniacs: Sometimes Patrick is working at 3am just to get your coin done. It’s not because he was lazy all day and procrastinating but rather he cares about your project. We are up all the time it seems and it’s because of our passion.
7. You Can’t Talk to the Owner: I know what you are thinking, how is this a good thing? Simple, if you can talk to the owner it means they don’t have enough business to hire someone else. He doesn’t have much going on. Adam can take your calls and your projects if you want to risk the company going bankrupt after you paid us, but we think you would rather get the job done and let me do my job. Companies that you call and the owner answers should scare the hell out of you. If you are willing to risk it then we are willing to watch. I will stick my buck with a company that is successful and has people around the clock to make sure you get what you want.
8. We mint in China: South Korea coins sucks. Any company making coins in South Korea obviously could care less about quality or their name. China makes good coins, and our factories make awesome coins. So you say we are an American. I say we can’t mint coins in the United States because of environmental policy. I would be out of business trying to sell you an American coin. Just ask our competitors how they are doing minting what little jobs require American mints. Don’t worry 100% of all challenge coin companies use an overseas mint. I said 100%, don’t listen to the lies…of course they want your business so they will tell you “USA made”. I call BS…
9. Veterans: Guess what? Just like most of these companies we are veteran owned and ran. It’s quite common for a military member to separate or retire and build a coin website. However, some coin companies wouldn’t know what a day in the military looked like if it hit them in the nose. Congrats to them but how can you sell military coins and don’t know the first thing about service. I guess I won’t ever know.
10. Reality: We believe in firm reality. It means we won’t BS you. We have no need for it. You get exactly what you see and we stand by our product. We don’t have some difficult process to understand. You want coins and we make coins….not a very hard concept.
11. Shipping: We ship twice a day and mail packages all the time. We use the USPS to keep costs down. We are really good at delivering all the time and on time.
12. Global: We are global. Not just some dudes sitting in a room pretending to be bigger than what it really is. We are in NM, GA, South Korea, China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, and the Philippines. We actually travel to the places we work with. We go and shake hands, take pictures, improve processes, and know everyone in the chain of making your coins. I don’t know another company that can say they travel around the US and Asia on a quarterly basis.
13. Selection: We have some many coins it’s ridiculous. I just went to the office in September 2010 and I swear there had to be almost 100,000 coins sitting in our inventory room alone. We have tons of ideas to choose from and have a ton more we can think of.
