While Manny Pacquiao has been enjoying his mega success in and out of the ring all around the world, other boxers are still coming out of the Philippines. U.S. Challenge Coins, LLC had another great opportunity in the boxing world in Malolos, Philippines. A young boxer named Jecker Buhawe is making inroads to an international title with us sponsoring him through each step of the way. Before long we will see him rise out of the beautiful Philippines and into our living rooms on pay-per-view. He has a lot of fans at home that are getting very excited about the direction his career is going.
Jecker is a special boxer that has a lot of hunger and that will get him on the world stage. I met his manager Arther Afable while I was on a trip to Malolos in early 2010. He told me all about Jecker and what he was doing to get to the top. After hearing about this young boxer it didn’t take much to make a decision on getting him wearing the U.S. Challenge Coin brand and having him fighting out there in our colors. Besides my family being Filipino, I thought this would be a great way to reach in and be a part of something very exciting. We had shorts done for Jecker and got him all the things he needed to be successful.
This summer Jecker will have several fights in the Philippines before he has the opportunity to travel abroad and show the international boxing community his skills inside the ring. He trains hard each and everyday and is determined to bring another success home to his community. We have seen a lot of great things form the Philippine Islands and this will be another wonderful additional to their bragging rights. His work with Hardcore Boxing Gym in Malolos, Philippines is really paying off and you can see it in the Youtube video.

With bouts through the summer we should see Jecker move onto the international circuit and go for the title. We are very excited to bring him an opportunity not only to the Filipino people but also to our company. As his fights develop we will add additional content about Jecker, Arthur Afable, and the success this partnership brings. Make sure you check back often to see the news about Jecker.
We would also like to say thank you to Jecker and his management team for allowing us the opportunity to be a part of this experience. While Jecker does all the heavy lifting we can only sit back and be proud of what he is accomplishing. To the Filipinos out there, please pay attention…you are about to have another reason to be very proud!
